Games to work on Sinergy or Teamwork

We have already seen what synergy is and all it entails, now we will see how to put it into practice through games, these help the team to learn from each other: how each one thinks, works, solves problems, and has fun.

Treasure hunt

Duration: 1 hour.

Number of participants: 2 small teams or more.

Materials needed: an object.

It consists of hiding an object in the workplace and dividing people into 2 or more groups and leaving different riddles for them to deduce where the hidden object is.

Objective: this is an excellent team-building exercise that helps to break up cliques by encouraging people from other groups to work together.

Human Knot

Duration: 15-30 minutes.

Number of participants: 8-20 people.

Materials needed: none.

Rules: Ask everyone to stand up and form a circle facing the center, shoulder to shoulder. Ask them to reach out with their right arm and take the hand of someone in front of them. Next, tell them to reach out their left arm and grab another random hand from someone else across from them. Within a set amount of time, the group will have to untangle their arms without letting go of their hands. If the group is too large, make several small circles for the groups to compete.

Objective: This game relies heavily on good communication and teamwork. It also leads to a lot of fun conversations for free time in the workplace.

Race with ballons

Materials needed: ballons

Rules: We will make couples who will have to place themselves touching back-to-back and interlocking their arms to be well united, it is forbidden to separate! And then put a ballon between the backs and it cannot fall down.

The race will start when all teams are positioned at the start. The groups will have to work together to reach the finish line first.

Objective: Coordinate to be the first to reach the finish line together.

Phone out of order

Place people in a line, and one person must whisper a phrase into the ear of the first person in the line, the longer and more complicated the better - you can opt for a fun tongue twister. Each person must whisper it into the ear of the next. The last one will say out loud what he/she has understood, and they will win if the phrase is like the one, they said at the beginning.

What did we learn?

The advantages of teamwork are undeniable. Working within a well-cohesive team has important benefits for both individuals and organizations. But it should be noted that for a team to enjoy them, it must be well organized. In addition, the objectives set must be truly common, understood and accepted by all members. We will see some positive aspects of teamwork for both individuals and companies.

Teamwork is distinguished by the fact that its members cooperate with each other and share information. In addition, they confront differences and put aside personal interests for the good of all. The collective effort results in a performance that is greater than the sum of the individual results. It is of great importance and has many advantages. But, at the same time, it requires effort and commitment to carry it out correctly.

The synergy is the final product, when all members of the team or group have complemented each other with their skills or knowledge and have emerged victorious at the end of the project.

To conclude with a quote from one of the greats of teamwork, Michael Jordan:

"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships."
